This meeting of our end of the world

This piece is part of the “Je t'écris” series, inspired by the legendary poem by Gaston Miron. Chloé Sainte-Marie made a song version of it, on her album Je pleures tu pleures.. My mother introduced me to it; and now, I sing it to my children when they are sick or sad. This poem, this song, they have accompanied me for years, and they bring light and comfort to my family. I therefore present to you here, in all humility, my personal pictorial representation of one of the lines of the poem.
